Konpa Teacher Training
After completing your cerification, you'll be ready to set up your own classes and curriculum to teach Konpa in your local area. You will gain confidence in your knowledge and your moves and be comfortable repurposing what you know to make it your own.
Curriculum
★ History of Konpa music and the dance genre (2 hours)
★ Different approaches to teaching Konpa which include counting (or not), how to run private classes, group classes, and Festival workshops
★ Learning beginner to intermediate moves and how to teach them from both the lead and follow roles
★ Learning Gouyad how to teach it from both the lead and follow roles
★ Konpa musicality
★ Study of the challenges that come up when teaching Konpa
★ All the knowledge and tips we have learned over the years
★ Answer all your questions
★ Homework
★ Final exam
